The breakfast was incredible and luxury with well prepared hot food and cakes, for example and the restaurant food was lovely! The hotel's location was riverside, in the restored baroque palace itself.

The breakfasts were delicious, with a variety of cakes and well-prepared hot food. the room was comfortable, with a lovely view and all necessary equipment. - the location is stunning and lovely, just a 5-minute walk from the Press Museum and near the center of Porto.

The ambience is extraordinary. The friendliness and helpfulness are unsurpassable. I was once in need of help because of a small accident and have been looked after excellently.

The hotel's location is great, right by the nearest metro station and the center of Porto. the breakfast spread is very comprehensive and delicious, with plenty of great options.

The room was fashionable and modern, the bed was very comfy. Amazing riverside location near the Duoro river as well as an old palace with a peaceful atmosphere. Moreover, I went to the lake, its 10 minutes walk away.

This spot had an amazing location, everything was very clean, and it was conveniently close to Quinta de Villar d'allen.

The hotel itself is most comfortable & impressive. There are great amenities. Staff was absolutely accommodating, professional and efficient. The stay at the hotel is a vacation in itself. It deserves beyond 5-star. Being on the Douro River, it is not far from the lower section of the city adjacent to the river, where there are lots of restaurants, shopping, activities (boat cruises etc) and fishing districts. If/when I return here, I will most likely stay at Pousada Do Porto again. Note: Re. author information below: While booked & used a twin room for myself, I also booked 2 other double rooms for (6 other) family members in this vacation. Total 7 members.

The hotel was fantastic.The staff couldn't do enough for you. the rooms were beautiful and spotless. The outside space was great to sit out in.The breakfast was fab I even had Bucks, Fizz.

The restaurant food lacked imagination and was really a bit boring.I think because it was mainly a business hotel and most guests would have been on expenses that the food wasn't so much of an issue. But it was for us!

That was perfect and unusual hotel set in nice area, very close to the Bishop's Palace, the nearest metro station and by walking-pavement along the river all the way-. Competent and knowledgeable staff with service at dinner, had a very nice attitude. The pool was great and I had carbonated drinks in the outdoor bar. Spent here 6 sunny days and will be back...
